Things you MUST know when travelling to Batanes



How to GO THERE:

The island of Batanes is accessible through a 1 hour and 10  minute flight from Manila through SKYJET (www.skyjetair.com), the only airline that currently serves the Manila-Basco route through its 96-seater plane.

What to BRING:
  1. Bring your personal medicines.
  2. Rubber Sandals/Trekking shoes
  3. Extra Cash – ATM Cards, Credit Cards are rarely accepted and used.
  4. Sunblocks/Lotion and sunglasses.
  5. Insect repellent.
  6. Windbreaker, jacket, or a scarf to protect from cold during the winter months.
  7. Extra memory cards and batteries for the camera.
  8. Mobile phone/Ipods/Laptop and your chargers.
  9. e-ticket of your flight schedule and Passports for foreigners.
  10. Light colored shirts (Must wear during tours for good color combination).
  11. Extra Clothing for your island hopping activities.
  12. Ziplocs to keep your valuables from getting wet.
  13. Love for Nature!
